This site has been created for Connecticut educators to assist them in identifying resources for implementing No Child Left Behind requirements in their districts, schools, and classrooms. The CBIA Education Foundation, with support from the CT State Department of Education, has identified effective practices that improve student performance in language arts, mathematics, and science.

This dynamic database of resources, literature, and curriculum has been compiled from a variety of national sources and is intended to make it easier for administrators and practitioners to find useful information that has been proven successful in a variety of settings.

We have only included Web sites that meet at least one or more of the following criteria:

Not commercial or commercially funded

Funded by a university or college

Funded by the U.S. Department of Education

Funded by an independent research or philanthropic organization (e.g., National Diffusion Network, National Science Foundation, Annenberg Foundation, etc.)

Endorsed by one or more national professional associations (e.g., NCTM, NCTE, ASCD, etc.)
